Elif Gabb

Elif Gabb is a rising JD graduate at the Sturm College of Law. A British-Turkish expat, Elif found herself at South Dakota State University in 2014; during college, she realized her future was in the law, and so, she decided to attend law school. Thinking she would end up a public defender, Elif began law school with the expectation of falling in love with criminal law. Instead, (and much to her surprise), she stumbled across the world of intellectual property (IP), and now plans to work as an IP transactions attorney upon graduation. Prior to the pandemic, Elif loved exploring Denver’s cafes, breweries, and restaurants whenever she had the time, but since being required to stay at home, her primary hobbies include napping and online shopping.
